Showgrounds, Harare
The National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (NANGO) will be hosting Compliance Clinics during the Zimbabwe Agriculture Show (ZAS) to assist NGOs, Trusts, and Community-based Organisations (CBOs) in meeting the requirements of the amended Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) Act. These Clinics will provide practical, hands-on guidance to organisations on aligning governance documents, reviewing constitutions, preparing applications, and packaging submissions for registration and regularisation. Participants will also receive expert support on gathering key documents such as board member details, police clearances, and operational summaries, as well as completing the PVO 1 and 2 application form. The initiative comes at a critical time, with the compliance deadline fast approaching, and offers an important opportunity for organisations that have not yet started the process to take immediate action. NANGO encourages all organisations to make use of this platform to ensure full compliance, safeguard legal standing, maintain donor confidence, and secure the continuity of their programmes.
