16th NGO Directors Summer Retreat

The National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (NANGO) is pleased to announce the 16th NGO Directors’ Summer Retreat, to be held from 25 to 27 November 2026 at Montclair Resort in Nyanga, under the theme “Recalibrating Civil Society in Zimbabwe for a Changing World: Strengthening Vibrancy, Sustainability and Partnerships”. As the regulatory, economic, technological and funding landscapes continue to evolve, the Retreat offers NGO directors and senior sector leaders a dedicated space for candid reflection, strategic dialogue and peer exchange, enabling them to take stock of emerging risks and opportunities and to reposition their organisations to remain relevant, resilient and accountable. Through engagement with development partners, government representatives and fellow practitioners, the Retreat seeks to strengthen institutional sustainability, good governance and compliance, and to advance a collective sector agenda that affirms the vital contribution of civil society to Zimbabwe’s development.
