The Masvingo Action Agenda and Resolutions captures the collective commitments and strategic resolutions arising from the 15th Annual NGO Directors’ Summer Retreat convened by the National Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (NANGO) from 27–28 November 2025 in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. As NANGO’s flagship annual convening, the Retreat brought together 186 civil society leaders, senior government officials, development partners, donors, private sector actors, and representatives of non-state actors from across Zimbabwe. The gathering provided a critical platform for dialogue and reflection on the evolving development landscape, shrinking civic space, changing development financing modalities, and increasing socio-economic challenges affecting communities. The Action Agenda and Resolutions outlines priority actions and resolutions agreed upon by CSO leaders to strengthen civil society resilience, promote effective engagement in national development processes, enhance accountability, and foster strategic partnerships. It serves as a shared roadmap to guide advocacy, collaboration, and collective action by CSOs and stakeholders committed to inclusive, sustainable, and citizen-centred development. 📄 Access the full document:
